ELM Group Welcomes New Properties to Management Portfolio

Seven new properties have been welcomed so far this year by ELM Group, who will take over the estate management services for the properties going forward.

ELM Group is delighted to announce the addition of seven new properties to its management portfolio as 2024 gets off to a positive start.

These properties are a welcome addition to ELM Group’s portfolio of over 4,500 units across 152 managed retirement properties across England.

Hartington Mansions, which came under ELM Group’s management in January, is a historic four-floor mansion block based in Eastbourne, close to the seafront in the heart of the town centre. Another property welcomed last month was Hengist Court - a purpose-built retirement property housing 73 flats in Maidstone, Kent.

The third property, set to be onboarded this month, is Lavant Court – a retirement living development based in Petersfield.

As part of the company’s longstanding partnership with Beechcroft Developments, it will add three further retirement developments to its management portfolio, including: Pinewood Place – an exclusive gated development comprising 41 apartments, close to Windsor’s town centre; Binfield House – a bespoke collection of elegant contemporary homes in Binfield, Berkshire; and Redclyffe Place – a development of new and converted retirement homes half a mile from the heart of Harpenden in Hertfordshire.

ELM Group has also been successful in winning the management of Brickstock Furze - a development offering 20 retirement units in Brentwood, Essex which is set to be onboarded later this year.

The organisation has made some internal changes to facilitate the new business including the appointment of two new estate managers who will be responsible for carrying out ELM Group’s estate management services, alongside accomplished Area Managers and a supportive Estate Services Team.

Simon Goldsmith, Head of Development at ELM Group, said: “This is an exciting time for ELM with many new opportunities in the pipeline. In 2023, we were awarded the management of more than 10 new estates, and with 2024 off to such a strong start, we predict this to be an extraordinary year.

We love the business we are in and are proud to be the leading managing agent chosen by leaseholders.”

ELM Group manages retirement communities across the South of England and has become one of the UK’s leading retirement leasehold management companies. The company originated in 1971 as Retirement Lease Housing Association (RLHA) a charitable organisation founded by a group of volunteers with a shared vision - to pioneer the development of sheltered housing for sale to people of retirement age. Sheltered housing for rent was already widely available, but the founders wanted to introduce the concept to those who valued owning their own property and saw the benefits of a purpose-built Estate, with onsite support from an Estate Manager.
